The Colliers' Arms is up at Hartshead Pike.

It was a rather old fashioned pub which was basically a house and often you would find washing drying in the front room and other domestic activities occuring. Sadly following the passing of the landlord, it has now closed and been allowed to fall into disrepair.

It was a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Summer, but somewhat bleak in winter.
