Description of Enumeration District.

All that part of the Parish of Ashton under Lyne which comprises part
of the Ecclesiastical District of New St George's Church Stalybridge and
which extens from Cock Brook in an easterly direction to and icluding
the west side of Water St in the Town of Stalybridge keeping on
the south side of Stamford Street as far as Thompson Cross and then
on the south side of Rassbottom Street in the said twon and on the
north side of the River Tame as far as the west side of Water Street
aforesaid but of course including all houses ond between such
north and south sides respectively and including Kelsall House
and the Porters Lodge, Stamford Lodge and the porters Lodge, the
Parsonage,the Railway Station, Water Road, Hulley Street, Harrop
Street, Chapel Street, Shepley Street, and the west side of Water Street
and the south side of Stamford Street and Rassbottom Street respectively
to the parish aforesaid.
