DESCRIPTION OF ENUMERATION DISTRICT

All that other part of the Lancashire Ward of the said Borough which
includes all the houses on the South side of Wakefield Road which lie between the East side of Church
Street and the Junction of Wakefield Road with Cocker Hill. All the houses on the Hague East of
the footpath leading across the Hague from Church Street to King Street. All the Houses on the North side of
Stamford Street commencing at the House occupied by Mr Hugh Marsland as far as the Bridge
over the River Tame near the Eagle Inn. All the Houses in Cocker Hill commencing at the
House occupied by Mr James Ford as far as the last named Bridge over the River
and including all Houses in Avon Street [Back Avon Street][Eagle Street] Ayton Street
or Lees Street, Heap Street, Hall Street, Blandford Street, and George Street and also
including all houses between the South side of Raſsbottom Street and the River Tame
commencing at the last name Bridge as far as the Bridge over the River Tame
at Water Street.
NB: The house said to be occupied by Mr Ford is now occupied by Mr Hill.
