Ashton Parish (Part of)


All in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Lees Field.
and a Part of the Parliamentary Borough of Oldham
all in the Hamlet of Lees and in the district of the Lees
Local Board. Commencing at the large house on the West Side
of Lees Brook containing 4 dwellings & all the Houses on the
north side of High Street beginning at the east side of the
Brook at the Bridge, and including Brook Lane Nicholson Street
New St Booth St, Cross St, Taylor St Mellor St Elliott St up to, but not
including the Devonshire Arms Inn, and all the Houses thence
to the bottom of Hey Lane at the corner of the Swan Inn. —
All the Houses on the South Side of High St, Lees, beginning

at the East side of Lees Brook, and including Spring Side House
and Cottages Spring Lane as far as the Well with Shaw's
Houses opposite and Knotts Houses Catherine St Warrington St;
Princess St, Police Station, Stamford St, Lees Square, Thomas St
Leesfield Vicarage, Church St Albert St Barn Fold, Hugh Fold,
Wellfield House and Lodge, both sides of Hartshead St from
the top of Smithy Brow to Booth's Mill at Couny End.
Then the South side only of Hartshead St to and including
Wm Kershaw's House at Willows. Then all the Houses on the
South Side of High St from the Smithy to County End Mill
including Bracewell St and Andrew St
