Containing the whole of the Hamlet of Alt commencing at Park Bridge near the Cotton Mill at the front of the Brook. Then Mill Brow Stable Yard Dingle Terrace, Mr Samuel Lees' House in the Brow, Dean Terrace Mr Jones's House below, Rocher,Ten Houses, Alders' Farm, Buckley's Farm and Cottages The Farm at Alt, the Houses adjoining, and also near the School, Then Higher Bottoms and Lower Bottoms Farms, Hawthorn Lea, All the houses at Pitses, Turf– Pits, Coming down the old road and finishing at the Manor House and Cottages at the Holts Farm, the residence of Mr Joe Sykes—All in the Hamlet of Alt, Leesfield Parish, and Prestwich Parliamentary Division——Cross the River, commencing at the Cottages nearto, Then Hopkin Mill, Lane Field, Melville St all the Houses at Sunny Bank, and Nether Lees, proceeding thence along Spring Lane, up to and including all Samuel Clegg's Houses and Ormerod's Court– Then both sides of West Street, with Buckley St, Dawson St, Nelson St, and Smith St, branching from it. Cross the top of West St take in Church & Schools, Street at John Higson's, all the houses on the old Cricket Ground, Livingstone St, Phillimore St. Then from Smith Toft's, both sides of Thomas St. Houses behind Bardsley's property and finish at the Registrar's House at the Cemetery—— All in the Lees Local Board District, in the Parish of Leesfield and in the Parliamentary Boro' of Oldham. |
