BOUNDARY Of the Enumeration District
The North East side of the Railway, then Oldham Boro all the way encircling until the River Medlock is reached at Holts Bleach
Works (Sykes Bros). Following Tributary Stream up to Bank Mill site, the Lees and Springfield Urban Councils run. From there to Kings Bank by
Lanehead, Boardman Farm, down to Parkbridge,the Westerly Boundary the whole distance down to Lower Fold Farm has Hartshead Sub–District for its immediate Boundary.

Commencing at Park Bridge at the foot of the Brow, Mill Terrace, Stable Yard, Dingle Terrance, Dean House, Dean
Terrace. Mr Jones House in the Brow, below on to Rocher. Then back to Carrington's Farm, Ten Houses, Four Houses, Alders Farm,
Alt Farm, Alt Fold, Houses near Alt School, down to Bottoms Farm, and Lower Bottoms Farm. From there to all the houses
at Pitses and Turf Pits, down the lane to houses at Sykes' Bleach Works. Then resuming at Cockfields Kennels,
Little Lea, Wildmoor Leach, to Birch Lea and Golf Club House. All the houses on the New Road, Higher Birches, and
Lower Birches. Starting at Woodcock Hall, then Barrett's, Bardsley's and Schofield's Houses. Take in all Knolls Lane
up to the Rising Sun Inn. Then go towards Lane Head, Top o'th Lane, Boardmans, back past the Ropery at the
Royal, High Knolls, Kiln Farm, Flash, Thornlee Brook, then the Tile Company's Yard, completing circuit at Kings Bankoff Mossley Road.
