The Boundary Marker between Hartshead and Mossley.

This has been moved from its original location near Tonge Bottom Farm to its present postion at the corner of Luzley Lane and Mossley Road.

This is not the boundary and is a particularly poor spot if the actual boundary is for some reason unsuitable.

A busy main road, by a derelict garage means that it is almost always covered in traffic grime.

Why the council chose this particular spot, I'll never know.
